Why iO

It’s very simple. India’s strength is variety. Our strength is showing that variety - in mountains, molehills, jungles and tangles. Indian Outskirts was born out of IndeBo - a Destination Management Company working on unique and tailored travel experiences in the Indian Subcontinent since 1979.

Underlying both the entities, there is a passion for the subcontinent - all things subcontinental - and a passion for learning.

We indulge in a number of unique and diverse projects. But some core philosophies define Indian Outskirts.

Our partners

Indian Outskirts has learnt a lot from it's partners.

We learnt about wildlife from Guy, urban adventures from Sarah and Avinash, and responsible travel from Tammy & Chris. Needless to say, the partners you'll see are the best in adventure and wildlife travel. You'll love your trip with them.

Tanuja Sah

Having lived in the mountains since birth, Tanuja Sah has a natural fascination for them. Hikes and drives have always fueled this passion. Before shifting to Indian Outskirts, she worked with the mother company, Indebo. Her experience at the company made her one of the experts of our sailing journeys on the Ganges.

Anindya Biswas

After working for 3 years marketing tailormade and theme journeys to our extremely well-read and interesting guests, Anindya decided to move on to Indian Outskirts… and hasn’t looked back since then (most of the time because behind him there is a wall).
